CozyFresh™ Cover Care
Your Tempur-Pedic® baby crib mattress is designed with a washable zip-off fabric cover and an inner protective encasement. It is important that you follow the proper care instructions below and as sewn onto the crib mattress cover. Failure to follow appropriate care instructions will void the warranty. You may also purchase a new CozyFresh™ replacement cover for your crib mattress here.
The inner protective encasement may be cleaned with a damp cloth and a soft, non-abrasive soap, such as a mild detergent or gentle cleaner. Wipe away any excessive liquids along the surface and seams and allow it to dry before placing the CozyFresh™ zip cover, mattress pads, or crib sheets onto the crib mattress.
Wash and dry the CozyFresh™ crib mattress zip cover according to the care tag sewn into the cover and indicated below. The cover should be completely dry before re-assembling it back onto the crib mattress.
First, remove the white and gray fabric from each other by fully unzipping the mattress cover. The 360° design allows each side to separate for easier cleaning and care.
For best results, hand wash and line dry.
Since parents are very busy, we also made the CozyFresh™ Cover machine washable. Wash on gentle cycle in cold water. Do not bleach. Do not use bedding settings on newer washing machines that use hot water. Use cold water setting on the gentle cycle only. Do not wash with other laundry that may be abrasive.
After washing, we recommend you squeeze out excess water by hand. Due to the plushness of the CozyFresh™ cover design, there may be excess water in the cover from some machines. The waterproof backing will also be damp as it is designed to be a waterproof barrier.
Line dry for best results. Air dry or tumble dry low when needed. Do not use medium or high heat settings in a dryer, and do not let the mattress cover rest on a hot dryer drum. The cover must be completely dry before placing back onto the crib mattress. Do not iron or dry clean.
